IN AN ATTEMPT TO GAIN CONTROL OVER CANCER RESEARCH, THE GOVERNMENT SUBSEQUENTLY CLOSED MANY OF THESE CLINICS AND LABS.
It must be said that, in 1939 Ensol was the only serum that was financed as well as being given permission by the government to continue production.

During the time Ensol was being produced in the 1930’s and 40’s there were several other physicians and non-physicians researching cancer. After 1938, the Ontario government spent much time investigating these cancer clinics. The intention was to ensure that the processes were safe.
A nurse named Rene Caisse had developed an indian herbal formula she called 'Essiac". In Donna M. Ivey's 2004 biography of Rene M. Caisse she states that ‘Essiac achieved extraordinary results and offered hope to many hundreds of cancer victims’. In 1941 the Ontario government closed her Bracebridge, Ontario cancer clinic after nurse Caisse steadfastly refused to reveal her secret. Nurse Rene Caisse died in 1978 having never revealed her formula.
Dr. John E. Hett of Kitchener Ontario had his medical license revoked in 1937 after refusing to provide his research methods to a subcommittee from the Ontario College of Physicians assisted by Sir Fredrick Banting. Dr. Hett never provided his procedures, even after Dr. Banting had offered the use of his laboratory to further his research.
In Detroit, Dr. William Fredrick Koch produced a serum called ‘Glyoxylide’. Not much is known about this serum but he had been working on this procedure for over two decades while offering hope to hundreds.
The Ontario government cancer clinic subcommittee was also investigating numerous other researchers such as, Sarah E. Powers who offered an ancient medicine which had been given to her in written code, Roy Green of Toronto, who had several cures but no evidence to support them or William Edward
a book published in 1987 called The Cancer Cure That Worked was suppressed by a conspiracy headed by the American Medical Association.
In an attempt to gain control over cancer research the government subsequently closed many of these clinics and labs. It must be said that, in 1939 Ensol was the only serum that was financed as well as being given permission by the government to continue production.
Research NOW
Dr. Andrew Parsa of the University of California, San Francisco is researching how to use the patient’s immune system to fight individual cancer tumors. This process involves extracting the patient’s cancer cells and reinjecting them after treatment. This process has lead to successful clinical trials in brain cancer.
Holder who described his electric short-wave cancer machine as the ‘cancer cure of the future’.
Another American scientist named Dr. Royal Raymond Rife, also in the 1930’s, treated cancer with his optical microscope and radio frequency devices. He had much success although, in
Vanderbilt University in Nashville Tennessee is researching ‘Personalized Medicine’. This involves the mapping of the human genome. This process also involves extracting the patient’s cancer cell, producing a serum and injecting it back into the patient. Vanderbilt’s clinical trials have had success with skin cancer. Patients have reported appetites returning, no signs of nausea or fatigue as well as increased energy.
Dr. Josef Issel's integrative immunotherapy cancer procedures that were used in treating patients in 1935 are continued today by his son Dr. Christian N. Issels. Issel’s Treatment Centres can be found in California and Mexico. The procedure is a nontoxic strategy for all types of cancer and it’s stages. It is designed to stimulate the body’s regulatory repair and immune mechanisms, recognizing and eliminating cancer cells. It is tailored to individual needs and integrates cancer vaccine protocols.
Cancer research by Dr. John Bell in Toronto is being carried out involving targeting tumors with a virus. It is showing promising results.
In May 2001, the *Canadian government invested 60 million dollars in a ten year program with the Canadian arm of the French drug giant Adventis Pasteur to develop a cancer vaccine. It is yet to be seen if, nearly 8 decades after Dr. Connell’s Ensol researchers can catch up with history.*(click on link below to get pdf)http://www.biotech.ca/uploads/pdf/15293-btc-vaccine-bro-ev3.pdf
